THE CORPORATION
Active since 1998 through the various companies that make it up, Corporación Financiera Valora was founded under its present name in 2001.
Corporación channels its investments through a triple Financial, Real Estate and Private EquityDivision structure.
As such, the mission of the Corporación Financiera Valora is to generate new business through reinvestment of the profit gained by the companies that make it up, while diversifying risks and meeting its goal of maintaining and increasing its assets. It does all of this in a desire to increase its solidity even more, thus contributing not only to the stability of its companies and customers, but, as a result, generating a multitude of jobs, contributing to Spanish economic growth and providing new business opportunities in different sectors. Furthermore, due to its outstanding worldwide network of offices, the Corporation also promotes development of the country’s international trade and commerce.

BACKGROUND
1989
Founding of Difusió Telemarketing Grup, S.A. (DTG), CRM -Customer Relationship Management- company specialized in solutions for top ranking organizations (banking, telecommunications, financing services, government, etc.).
1995
DTG is consolidated as the country’s number 1 telemarketing company in turnover, and the top ranking independent national company not shared by financing groups or banks. With offices in 7 Spanish cities, it had up to 4500 employees.
1998
British capital venture group, 3i Europe, acquires a 35% share in DTG stock, (through capital increase), thus boosting the company’s internationalization.
2000
DTG merger with the American multinational corporation Teletech Inc., Ltd., making Barcelona the new European headquarters of this company at its new offices in the city’s Distrito 22@.
2001
Founding of the Presence Technology company, born as spin-off from the DTG IT Department, and profiled as an important Spanish software provider specialized in offering advanced CRM and Contact Center management solutions.
2002
Startup of Presence operations in Mexico.
2004
Startup of Presence operations in Colombia and South Africa
2004
Founding of Marketing & Consultancy Environement (MCE), field marketing outsourcing company with main offices in Madrid and Barcelona, a team of multi-disciplinary professionals specialized in several different fields and sectors, as well as a wide range of action (local, regional and national).
2004
Founding of Emergia Customer Care, Spanish multinational company, pioneer in strategic consulting and BPO services for Customer Care in the Spanish-speaking world market.
2005
Startup of Emergia operations in Barcelona and Madrid, as well as in Colombia, Ecuador and Chile.
2005
Startup of Presence operations in the US.
2006
Strong Emergia investment in Chile, continuing the company’s international expansion project.
2007
Acquisition of35% of Sogecrédit capital, becoming the reference shareholder and principal stockholder.
SOCIALRESPONSIBILITY
For Corporación Financiera Valora, investments and business are not the only important things. Through Fundación Corporación Valora,its commitment to the more disfavored social realities is also one of its most important activities.
This entity, created in 2005, is a private foundation, financed with contributions from the Corporación’s companies. Its main mission is to contribute actively and economically to reducing the rate of poor and hungry in needy populations through incentives, creation and financing of sustainable business projects generated to improve the conditions of live in those areas.
The Foundation carries out other outstanding actions such as sponsoring children, granting micro credits to entrepreneurs in those countries where the Corporación is active and close cooperation in many international NGO projects with World Vision, among others.
Corporación does not forget that “What in the end provides us with the greatest wealth is the benefit and welfare of everyone.”
